Bristol Scenes by Gill Dix
My name is Gill Dix, I am now retired and have always enjoyed Art ,I have had lessons in watercolours with some wonderful teachers.
My late aunt Gladys Crook and my late father Frederick Knight have both inspired me to paint in watercolour, pen and wash and oils. They both were very talented . My brother Steve Knight is an excellent wood sculptor , my mum painted very delicate flowers.
My sister Hilary Davies is a wonderful abstract artist, producing colourful scenes of places she has visited.
I enjoy photography as well and I paint my Bristol scenes from my photos. I have recently entered the Bristol Prize Competition, which was great fun with my picture of Temple Meads Station. I am very happy to take commissions of any picture, please see my contact page.

We raised money for the Childrens' Hospice SW last year and had a lovely day, we are going to support the Great Western Air Ambulance this year.
This was a very successful day and we raised money for the Village Hall as well.
