Bristol Scenes by Gill Dix
My name is Gill Dix, I am now retired and have always enjoyed Art ,I have had lessons in watercolours with some wonderful teachers.
My late aunt Gladys Crook and my late father Frederick Knight have both inspired me to paint in watercolour, pen and wash and oils. They both were very talented . My brother Steve Knight is an excellent wood sculptor , and my mum painted very delicate flowers.
My sister Hilary Davies is a wonderful abstract artist, producing colourful scenes of places she has visited.
I paint my Bristol scenes from my photos. I have recently entered the Bristol Harbourside Prize Competition, which was great fun with my picture of "Moored at the Arnolfini ".I am very happy to take commissions of any picture, please see my contact page.
All my cards are £2 each including postage.

I am at Westbury on Trym Country Market in the Methodist Church Hall some fridays from 10.30am until 11.30am. where we sell crafts, cakes, plants etc.
I organise the Henbury Art Club every Thursday morning in the Southmead Mezzanine Library and we have an annual Art Show in the Henbury Village Hall on May Day which will be MAY 4th 2015.
We raised money for the Great Western Air Ambulance this time and had a lovely day. Next year our Charity is HELP THE HEROES.
